Current Exhibitions
As the museum's renovation and expansion proceeds, special exhibitions have moved from the temporary space where they had been presented for the past three years to the brand-new special exhibition hall that opened October 19, 2008 with Artistic Luxury: Fabergé, Tiffany, Lalique.
At the same time, the museum celebrates the reopening of the main floor of its historic 1916 building, with more than 900 works of art back on public view for the first time since 2005. Featured are European old master paintings and American art up to about 1900—quite an exhibition in itself. Admission is free.
