Educational Programs

The museum’s efforts in education began years before the building opened in 1916, and service to the region’s educational community has been a constant priority ever since. Some educational programs, such as talks and lectures and some community arts programs, cross disciplines into the realm of events, so we include them here as well as in the event section. Multi-session classes for which a series fee is paid are considered educational programs, and are not cross-listed because a visitor cannot drop in on any session once the series has begun.
